Planned Parenthood and Blumenthal Campaign Caught in the Act.
Planned Parenthood, which declares itself “a trusted health care provider,” is working with Democrat Richard Blumenthal’s Senate campaign to defeat Republican Linda McMahon, according to Politico. The non-profit organization is not supposed to get involved in political campaigns. According to its website, even when it gets political it doesn’t get partisan: “The Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.”
So it comes as jarring news that Planned Parenthood has been caught cattin’ around with the Blumenthal campaign in a revealing, indiscreet email message seeking
“mysoginistic photos of women and WWE. Planned Parenthood wants to hit LM hard on it.” Seems Democrat campaign consultant Andrew Grossman also does work for Planned Parenthood. The Politico grenade indicates some illegal coordination may be going on between an arm of Planned Parenthood and the Blumenthal campaign. The five term attorney general usually gets vexed about abuse of a non-profit organization’s valuable tax-exempt status. What legitimate public purpose in promoting sexual health could the righteous and high-minded at Planned Parenthood have in sliming pro-choice Linda McMahon? Now and then as an election approaches, we see a lefty, partisan organization with its 501 (c)(3) slipping. The organization’s website procalims “Who We Are.” The email shows what they are.
Mr. Grossman would not have had to do the dirty work himself if only he could have filled this job at Planned Parenthood, posted on his website. The next race to watch will be the one to the FEC and the IRS. Too late to use a prophylactic on your emails.

This confirm’s that Planned Parenthood is a partisan organization with an agenda — just like we’ve seen with NPR, this week. No wonder the WWE and its investors feel they need to protect their brand in the face of such slimy attacks. Bet you won’t see Nancy DiNardo filing any action against Planned Parenthood.
Why does it surprise anyone that the far left fringe supports someone, ANYONE, against a successful woman like Linda McMahon.
McMahon’s only “crime” is to want to go to Washington and clean up the mess created to a great extent by the current incumbent, Christopher Dodd.
That’s a good point, e – it’s ok for Planned Parenthood to commiserate with the Dem campaign but WWE, who’s been the red headed step child of entertainment for ever (despite being the number one or two cable show on tv for ten years), can’t defend itself from the Dem smear campaign?
Blumenthal and the dems are so anti-business that they don’t give a hoot how potentially damaging their anti-WWE smear campaign has been to WWE’s business.
When WWE does poorly, CT collects less income tax from them.

Planned Parenthood is the nations largest provider of abortions, the killing of unborn tiny humans. Death to the unborn is not being a health provider. The women are not in risk to their health when they drive and walk into the aboratoriums. The women are interupting a natural process which harms them. The women are not given anesthesia and neither is the infant when it is burned to death and has its body parts ripped away. And PETA is concerned with circus elephants?
There have been 50 million deaths of the unborn since Blumenthal helped SCOTUS Justice Blackmun forge the decision in Roe v Wade, removing from states the right to decide on abortion.
Planned Parenthood has received taxpayers money from Obama who had pledged that no government funds would be used. A big chunk was recently sent to Pennsylvania.
Yeah, this doesn’t even touch on Planned Parenthood’s mission/goals/practices. That’s an entirely different fight that really doesn’t mean much to the liberals – they are all for that baby killing stuff.
Does anyone seriously think this story will get coverage? At least coverage that doesn’t spin it with the pathetic excuse Blumenthal’s people are making for it?
Nobody will point out the potential implications. Nobody will point out the blatant hypocrisy of Blumenthal’s campaign doing this while at the same time furiously objecting to WWE defending itself.
By tomorrow it’ll be forgotten.
The question voters need to ask is what have the Democrats done for this state? We have had Democrat control of the legislature and our Congressional delegation to what end? We have the second high electric rates in the country after Hawaii, of the gas tax only 32% of it goes to transportation, and we get only 69% back from every dollar we send to DC. The Dems have raised our taxes again and again and nothing has gotten better. Remember the ‘temporary’ income tax, they have not cut a budget, have used the emergency fund and put off funding pensions. Yet unions support them because they know they control the Democrats and the Democrats will not cut a budget. Yes Republican candidates are not perfect but we need to restore balance to our government and that means not electing Democrats.
People keep voting for Dems because they don’t ever tell anyone “no”.
Think about it – cutting the budget would definitively mean cutting funding for some sort of program or department. The employees or beneficiaries of said programs or departments would be up in arms at the very sniff of a funding cut.
Since the Dem’s can’t make a hard decision and say “no” to anyone who comes crying at their stoops, they won’t cut anything.
Is it any wonder that we face a $3.5 B deficit for the next 3 years? And they have the gall to blame the Republican Governor at every turn? Amazing…
“Planned Genocide” has nothing to do with parenthood. It discourages parenthood, but believes in the cult of death!

It had to happen. The Democrat Shadow Mafia has been doing this for years. The AFL-CIO site advertises themselves as the largest funders of political campaigns outside of the two National Commitees. They brag about their ability to bring the vote for labor contracts and Pro-SEBAC candidates.
I don’t like the Citizen’s United Decision but it had to happen.
