Soon They’ll be Seven

Newington Mayor Jeff Wright will exit the race for the Republican nomination for governor early next week, sources tell us.  Keeping with the spirit of the campaign season, Wright will become a candidate for state treasurer.

Wright is expected to endorse Republican Tom Foley, the frontrunner for the Republican gubernatorial nomination.
