Supreme Court Nixes Stolen Valor Act. Relief for Blumenthal.

The Supreme Court handed United States Senator and faux Vietnam veteran Richard Blumenthal a quiet victory on this momentous day. It ruled that it is not a crime to lie about receiving military honors. That’s a relief for the first term senator who was bombarded two years ago by New York Times reports of his many claims to have served in Vietnam as a Marine reservist. Blumenthal’s firewall of editorial writers and other chattering class friends will be pleased as well.
