Memo to Candidates: Use a Cellphone Earpiece.

The state law that requires drivers to use a handsfree device when yammering on the phone while driving is not suspended on the weekends for state officials when they don’t usually have their drivers to ferry them from event to event.  We know you have a lot on your minds with new offices to seek, but it does set a bad example to flout the law in front of all those other drivers passing you on a busy eastern Connecticut road.  Word, as you can see, gets around.
