Ryan Bingham to Nominate Boughton.
Popular former Torrington mayor Ryan Bingham will deliver a nominating speech for Danbury’s Mark Boughton at next weekend’s Republican state convention. Bingham was elected mayor of Torrington for four consecutive terms. He resigned last year on October 1st.
Bingham was 22 years old when he won his first two year term in 2005. The Torrington Republican also served as head of the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities during a difficult period.
