What Price Foley?
A story in today’s Courant will force Republican leaders and primary voters to decide how many more damaging stories from Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Foley’s eventful personal life his campaign can endure. It’s the unusual divorce that includes two attempts, six years apart, by a man to persuade his ex-wife to sign a statement declaring that he never physically abused her.
The former Mrs. Foley declined to sign in November 2000, included the unsigned statement in her submission of painful documents to the governor’s office in 2002, and fours years later signed a statement requested by the White House in 2006 contradicting her earlier claims. Lisa Foley (who is not the Lisa Wilson-Foley seeking to be the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor) also claimed her ex-husband dangled a loan in November 2000.
One’s first thought is for the poor son who was the subject of the long War of the Foleys. Then there is the more practical political consideration. There will be more. That’s not a guess. Read the end of today’s story. Lisa Foley raised that old chestnut of nannies and their taxes. Tom Foley gives a bifurcated answer. That was Lisa Foley’s responsibility. It was handled right.
This issue isn’t going away. Foley will be dogged by stories, whether by repetition or revelation, of his arrests and contentious divorce for the rest of the campaign. His guarded answers suggest that there are more damaging details to drip-drip-drip into public view.
Republican rivals have the stomach to exploit Foley’s troubles, but they may not possess the resources. The Democrats will apply both if Foley wins the August 10th primary. Other Republicans will not want to spend three months defending Foley in the general election campaign. They’ll have to decide soon what action to take to salvage or savage Foley.
The Greenwich millionaire has not shown himself to be a talented political crisis manager. The next several weeks will provide a test of skills he’s not yet shown he has.

No need to make excuses and pretend that Foley’s general election chances are suddenly in peril… his inability to win a general election has been a foregone conclusion since he entered the race. His personal presentation is awful, and from day one his campaign has not been a chapter of profiles in competence.
I’ve said it before. As Tom Foley’s odds of winning the Republican nomination rise, the Republican party’s chance of holding on to the governor’s office fall.
Fuzzy has this right.
A vote in August for Tom Foley is a akin to voting for whoever wins the Democratic primary.
Mr. Rennie,
This is the first time I’ve ever read this blog or for that matter ever even heard of you.
I’m just curious; based upon what you’ve written, you’re obviously not supporting Mr. Foley in the campaign. Are you supporting the efforts of Mr. Fedele or Mr. Greibel? Given your background that I found on Google, my guess is Mr. Fedele. Only someone that was in the bag for the Lt. Governor could have written the dribble you’ve written here.
You’re a lawyer. Let’s put this entire thing in perspective and try and answer some questions.
Doesn’t it strike your curiosity even a little bit, that these “terrible” documents that were sealed and buried for all these years mysteriously arise from the ashes when they did?
The Bush administration put Mr. Foley through the vetting process when they appointed him Ambassador to Ireland and when they sent him to Iraq to represent our country in working with businesses there. I guess you don’t think the Federal government knew about these things? The truth is that they did and just dismissed them as meaningless blemishes in the life of a truly good man.
But let’s go back for a moment.
Who would have had access to those files or even know about their existence?
I think it’s a logical assumption that it was someone in government perhaps? Who would have enough presence and power and authority to unearth something like that?
Mr. Fedele is Lieutenant Governor. But why would he want to do something like that? Well, he was drowning in the polls, (27points down in the last Rasmussen poll) and still couldn’t raise enough money to qualify for public financing with was running out? Do you think that qualifies as a motive? Don’t you find it ironic that a campaign that was essentially dead in the water has now been able to find enough life to barely qualify now? Which as a candidate for Governor that is preaching a smaller government and less spending, reducing deficits etc., now seems to think it’s okay to waste taxpayers money to foot the bill for a campaign that doesn’t even have enough support to fund itself? Forget about the lack of logic, how about the hypocrisy of it?
So who stands the most to gain from this character assassination…which is all it is. You’re an attorney. Put the facts together. You don’t need to be Perry Mason to figure it out.
This is just dirty politics coming from a desperate campaign by a questionably powerful politician gasping for life.
I’d have examined Mr. Greibel’s potential with this, but with him polling at only 2% (again according to Rasmussen) this is such a reach and ego thing for him that it hardly seems worth the effort.
One last thought on all the background stuff.
Do you think if there was an intense combing of Mr. Fedele’s past associations and connections something might come of it? Oh wait, when he was “APPOINTED” to HIS position he went through a vetting process. I wonder how thorough that digging was? Maybe you could start looking there and see if maybe he’s EVER had something bad happen in his life.
The bottom line on all of this is that Mr. Foley is the best candidate to lead Connecticut out of the sorry state that it’s in and restore her to the rightful place she belongs…as one of this nation’s shining lights. It’s these career politicians that we need to turn away from and look to people with a history of success in the real world who will bring with them proven track records to bring a new vision to government.
Tom Foley is that leader and in the spirit of full transparency I am proud to say that I fully support him and am doing all that I can to see him elected our next Governor.
“Fuzzy” is correct, Republicans should think twice before casting any vote for Foley.
If he is the nominee, the campaign will all be over except for the singing fat lady.
No need for me to say much more, as Mitch Beck laid it all our pretty well.
Mitch, that guy who’s posting as “ACR” is Doug Hageman, a Republicans State Central member from Southington who is on Fedele’s payroll to post crap like this. Doug you ought to be ashamed of yourself and if Fedele had any brains, he’d take you off payroll immediately.
Good job Mitch, your analysis is spot on.
And ACR will soon respond with a comment that anyone not supporting Fedele is bigoted against Italians. Seems to be the latest Fedele strategy to win at the polls. Fedele should vet his consultant staff members batter.
Outing someone’s blog handle? Not cool.
seems like these foley issues are way back in time. How is it relevant to the issues today. Custody contests are always nasty.
The indictment of ACR is weak and childish. His support of Fedele has always been a matter of loyalty and respect. Every district in both the Democratic and Republican State Central Committees would be lucky to have someone who works as hard for candidates as Doug. His loyalty and work ethic in terms of campaigning are second to none.
Mitch, you closed your comment with, “in the spirit of full transparency,” if we can expect full transparency from you, why shouldn’t we expect it from someone who aspires to hold the highest elected office in the state?
I’m not saying Foley has or hasn’t done anything wrong, I don’t know that, and won’t know that unless the sealed records are released. But I don’t want to have any reason to doubt someone whom I should look to as a leader. If there’s nothing to hide, and Foley is not ashamed of his actions, just release it and end this madness.
The more this issue festers, the more people will wonder why he spent a night in jail calling a Manhattan attorney instead of calling AAA from the side of the road.
Bob, go screw yourself. Doug Hageman makes no secret of who he is, I didn’t “out” anyone you idiot. And “T” Doug Hageman’s comments are the “weak and childish” ones here, not mine.
If Doug works “so hard” for candidates in his district then why did ALL the State Rep seats in the 16th go from Democrat to Republican under his tenure? Okay, there’s a Republican State Senator from the 16th, Sam Caligiuri but Hageman been working against him for years now. Hageman’s poor track record speaks for itself and now he’s making Fedele look horrible. Did any candidate that Doug backed at the Republican convention win? If there was one, please tell us. “Loyalty” is a wonderful thing “T” but the results speak for themselves.
I would have thought that Doug would have been smart enough to not keep poking sharp sticks in the eye of the guy (Tom Foley) who’s most likely going to win the primary. To me he’s exercising poor judgment to keep posting stupid comments on blogs the way he does. If he spent 10% of the time he wastes “blogging” on getting Republicans elected to the State House from Southington and Wolcott, he might actually have something to show for all his bluster.
Bob, click on “ACR” link in his post and it will bring you to his website and click the titter link and you will see DOUG HAGEMAN in BIG LETTERS. Once again, you are an idiot.
Thanks for clearing that up for me, Ed. We idiots need help from ANGRY guys like you once in a while.
Ed M from Branford–
I don’t necessarily agree with Doug Hageman on all the candidates I back– but I take issue with your attacks on him. You forget to mention the numerous municipal candidates in Southington / Cheshire that he’s supported. Anyone with a brain knows that the legislature has been trending Democrat for a number of years– and that national issues and gerrymandering have much to do with it.
As to whether any of the candidates Hageman supported at the convention won, I would submit the names of Martha Dean and Mark Boughton, both of whom won the Republican endorsement at the convention.
I don’t agree with Doug on who I support all the time. For example, he supported Simmons; I supported Schiff. However, I have an immense respect for him as a friend and party leader. No one is more loyal.
Since you talk so big, Ed, let me ask you– what results have you delivered for the Republican Party?
“The steam the blew the whistle never turned the wheel.”
At least my part of the state has Republican State Reps and State Senators Brislin. Doug is relentless in his attacks on Tom Foley and so long as he continues to do it, I’m going to give it right back to that stupid SOB.
You and your butt lickers from Enfield are a bunch of lowlife liars anyway so I have no respect for you at all. You’re all about “What’s in it for ME” which is why you didn’t keep your word to Foley and switched to Fedele based on a slimy back room deal. Keep it up Brislin and I’ll lay it all out here for all to see you dirt bag.
I’m not “ANGRY” Bob, but you’re still an idiot. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
EdMfromBranford,
While I may agree with a limited number of the ideas that you have presented here, I have never seen anyone with so much disrespect for other people. It is pretty obvious to anyone with 2 eyes and a first grade education that you are in the bag for Foley, which is fine, as everyone is entitled to support any candidate of their choosing.
But if I were a representative of the Foley campaign, I’d rather have ACR on my side any day than a supposedly mature adult who remits to calling someone who respectfully voices a disagreement a “butt licker.”
I’ll leave any opinions I might have on the race itself out, as currently I am an undecided primary voter, but I’m interested to see what kind of names you can come up with for me. I will be certain to have my 4 year old niece come up with some terrific retorts.
CW47
When people like Brislin who lie right to people’s faces (the Foley campaign) based on promises made in a back room deal start crap with me, they’re going to be called names CW47. Brislin didn’t “respectfully voice disagreement” with me, he started in with childish taunts (or do you only have selective reading skills) and I gave him what he deserved. If you can’t see that then you’re just as much of a troublemaker as he is and probably do deserve to be called some names. People like Brislin who live in glass houses shouldn’t be throwing stones. If you don’t like it, that’s too bad.
When people like Doug Hageman who is being paid by the Fedele campaign to badmouth fellow Republicans publicly, I’m going to take him to task as well. Again, if you don’t like it too bad.
Yes, I’m supporting Tom Foley in the primary because he’s the strongest candidate the Republican party can put forward giving Republicans the best chance of winning that office in November.
I am not on the payroll like Doug Hageman is nor am I supporting a candidate based on a backroom deal during a conversation at the hotel bar on Friday night before the vote (which is exactly the reason that the butt licker Brislin voted for Fedele). When people behave in ways where they deserve to be called names, they’re going to be called names. Don’t whine about my taking them to task CW47, scold them for their offensive and slimy behavior which is the reason they’re being called names.
Ed, You make a wild series of accusations. Do you have any evidence to back them up? You may want to check your facts.
Are you regurgitating propaganda fed to you by the Foley campaign? Are you really from Branford or are you a Foley staffer upset at losing Enfield? Perhaps you’re Ben Hartman or Bill Cortese.
Ed, if you’re such a good Republican, what about Ronald Reagan’s Eleventh Commandment, “Thou shalt not speak ill of a fellow Republican.”
Rather clearly the Foley team was caught entirely off guard by their candidates prior acts and thus couldn’t do their job preempting (and in that process, inoculating him) so their response is to attack anyone and everyone they perceive as an enemy; most especially any ranking party members for Fedele that have been vocal in favor of Mike, or worse (gasp!) that have been critical of Foley. (The very nerve!)
It should be noted however that I don’t post anonymously nor hide behind the shield the `net offers like a child hiding behind his mothers apron.
In fact I am Doug Hageman a member of Republican State Central from the 16th district and my phone number is 860 919-8315 (No – I don’t answer blocked calls, do you?)
(Thank you “Bob” for comment #7 but I was “outed” some time ago and have long given up any attempts to re-conceal myself.)
Re: Comment 11
How do you think Sam Caligiuri wound up with the nomination in 2006 to run for an open seat?
The 16th district encompasses all or part of 4 towns and the delegate breakdown is currently:
Waterbury 6
Wolcott 7
Cheshire 3
Southington 16
If you’re laboring under the delusion that no one did any heavy lifting for Sam so as to afford him a clear run 4 years ago, you’re sadly mistaken and I would suspect my friend of 22 years and lodge brother, Sam Caligiuri would be happy to set you straight on that.
Indeed I was the 1st member of state central to endorse Justin Bernier well over a year ago and not wishing to appear like weather-vane Lowell Weicker did not withdraw my name.
(The Bozzuto campaign put up with some of that in 1986 and it left a bad taste in my mouth; I swore I’d never pull a stunt like that and won’t.)
However; driving a Ford doesn’t imply there’s something wrong with Buicks.
It should be noted that while half the 16th district is w/in the 5th Congressional district, the other half is Southington where I vote and we’re in the 1st rendering my opinion regarding the 5th somewhat moot.
“Questions” I’ve got a “question” for you, why don’t you ask Doug Hageman about your so-called “11th commandment?” You’re obviously only of those who has two sets of rules, one for people you like and one for people you don’t.
And no, I’m not Ben Hartman or Bill Cortese. I wonder what Doug thinks about people like Brislin and his crew in Enfield who “gives his word” then changes it at the last minute because of a back room deal? C’mon Doug, what do you think about that seein’ as how you’re so “loyal” an’ all?
Ed, I was one of the Enfield delegates who changed his vote to Fedele. I can tell you that it wasn’t because of any back-room deal. I changed my vote after we found out that Foley’s staffers lied to us twice. They claimed that Foley never interviewed or approached anyone to run for Lieutenant Governor. Once we started talking to people at the convention, we quickly found out that was false. They also claimed that Foley was neutral about who the convention picked for Lieutenant Governor. We found out that he was quietly supporting Lenny Winkler and introducing her to people at the Convention. This appeared to be nothing more than a low-handed attempt to stab Mark Boughton in the back, for going with Fedele instead of Foley. We discovered these facts on the eve of the convention. At that point, Foley was done and it was a choice between Griebel and Fedele. That choice was easy: Fedele opposed tolls and Griebel supported them.
I do not take kindly to being lied to… and certainly don’t want to see people who do so hired as staff in the governor’s office.
Ed— What evidence do you have that Enfield was “committed” to Foley? We never endorsed Foley or any other candidate for governor. Some of Foley’s staffers were so arrogant that they thought they were entitled to every vote at the convention and didn’t have to earn them.
Someone who’s word is no good is in no position to complain when their supporters desert them.
To parade around wearing “Axe the Tax” banners from 19 years ago and then promote one of the 11 members of the GOP House that broke ranks in 1991 in support of the income tax as Lt Governor is the very zenith of hypocrisy.
To then not only accept, but to stage a news event when endorsed by a 1 term Congressman who in 1971 as a CT State Senator introduced and income tax (a full 20 years ahead of Weicker) pretty clearly spells out that Foley is not the same fiscal conservative he was 2 decades ago.
People have a right to abandon those that have abandoned their values.
Enfielder, you are a liar.
Foley never interviewed or approached anyone about running with him for LG. I know people who were asked if they “were interested in being considered” which is 100% completely NOT being asked if that person would be Tom Foley’s LG selection as a running mate. If someone is too stupid to know the difference between the two questions then that’s THEIR fault and does not make Tom Foley and his staff “liars” as you claim.
Who cares if he was quietly supporting Lenny Winkler, Boughton WAS ON THE OTHER TEAM with Fedele, how stupid are you?
You weren’t “lied to” you’re just making up lies as an excuse for going back on your word because some of you scumbags from Enfield made a back room deal and you know darn well what I’m talking about. “Sunday sales” ring a bell? Don’t feign ignorance on that one because there are far too many witnesses about this slimy move that you clowns made.
Awwww, poor Doug….you’re hatred of Larry DeNardis (the one term Congressman of which you speak) will make you say anything, won’t it? And Doug, Lenny Winkler may have voted for the income tax as did Michael Caron. Too bad if you don’t like it, you were never a State Representative who had to vote for the interests of their districts instead of what some blowhard from Southington wants.
What are you two jerks going to do when Fedele loses the primary, vote for Ned Lamont? It wouldn’t surprise me one bit because of the way you two keep lying and carrying on. You’re both absolutely pathetic and probably both wishing for a Democrat Governor because you’re both cut out of the “What’s in it for ME?” cloth and probably will line your pockets personally from that. We know that’s all the “Sunday sales” Enfield crew is all about and Doug has a track record of using politics for personal gain as well. Lawn signs ring a bell Doug?
And now Ed breaks out the semantics… because Foley asked people if they were interested in being considered, instead of offering them the job, we weren’t lied to. And yet the reality is that Foley interviewed a number of lawmakers with an eye towards picking a running mate. No matter how you slice it, that fact is true. A number of his selections raised serious concerns for their support of controversial issues like pot legalization. Foley’s staff told us that he had not interviewed anybody and was completely neutral about who was chosen for Lt. Gov. We were told that “Foley trusts the convention” to pick the best candidate for LG.
How could Foley be completely neutral, “trust the convention”, and quietly back Lenny Winkler? These statements are contradictory.
I wasn’t part of any back-room deal… If Sunday sales are legalized, I don’t get a penny. I’m not in the liquor business; only one delegate was. What is the personal gain to me and the other Enfielders who went with Fedele? Only one Enfield delegate is in the liquor business. Ed, you’ve dodging one of my initial questions— what evidence do you have that I and any of the other Enfielders made a firm commitment to Foley in the first place. There’s a reason why I never endorsed him or anyone else… so that I could go to the convention without being committed.
You are incredible. If you can’t see the difference between “being interested in being considered” and actually being offered the position of Tom’s running mate or being interviewed or vetted, then there’s no hope for you. You are absolutely, positively 100% lying when you say that “Foley interviewed a number of lawmakers with an eye towards picking a running mate.” What proof do you have of that? There is no way you can get one of those lawmakers to state publicly that Tom Foley asked them to be their running BECAUSE IT NEVER HAPPENED. Penny Bacchiochi WAS NOT one of his selections so once again you are lying.
Brislin and Alaimo both gave their word they would vote for Foley, you know it, I know it and they know it.
My my, you anonymous schmuck.
That’s not only untrue but it’s probably libel.
I’ve never made a dime on signs – were I inclined (as is the Enfield Republican TC Chair) I certainly wouldn’t be giving away my source on facebook (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2036821&id=1355406021&l=5d6095be53) or via a twitter remark (http://twitter.com/A_C_R/status/17804461360) and link going out to over 950 people would I?
Temper temper Doug, I didn’t know you were so thin-skinned and don’t have a sense of humor. Get over it, IT”S THE INTERNET, it’s not like it’s the real world or anything.
By the way, your sign guy had different sets of prices (ranging from the price you quoted to double that) depending on what minute of the day you talk to him, why is that? How well do you know this guy?
Take your “libel” crap and shove it up your backside. When you’re actively promoting a political lawn sign vendor who changes his prices depending on who and when he’s talked to, it certainly APPEARS like you’re in on the action. You want to sue me for that then go right ahead and make some lawyers rich and accomplish nothing, you have no case. You got enough “dough” in your wallet for a retainer?
Actually, never mind all that, you’re an elected public official in Southington which means I can say anything about you I want and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it. How do you like ‘dem apples?
Enfield is a funny place, isn’t it?
Ed from Branford, why don’t you give up the game and admit that you’re a paid Foley staffer? I’ve taken the time to do some research. There is no Ed M. on the RTCs in Branford and North Branford. Neither was an Ed M. ever elected as a convention delegate in either of those two towns.
You’ve betrayed yourself in what you’ve said. How could you possibly have such knowledge and certainty about what Foley did and did not do with Lt. Gov. candidates if you’re a campaign outsider? As an outsider, how could you ‘know for a fact’ that certain Enfield delegates had ‘gave their word’ to Foley? Did you watch them do it in person? You don’t seem to have any evidence.
Enfield is an interesting place, isn’t it? Since you’re so familiar with Foley’s campaign, why don’t you tell us about Foley’s special side deal with the Enfield RTC chair? Now there’s someone who’s corrupt. She has multiple charges against her with the SEEC and makes quite the tidy profit off of political campaigns.
“Facts,” I am not a paid Foley staffer. I don’t even know who most of them are. I hear things and I talk to people. Just because I’m not on the RTC in Branford doesn’t mean I don’t know things. I did some research on you too, there’s no one named “facts” on the voters list in Connecticut so you obviously don’t know anything about what you say.
You’re right, I didn’t witness Brislin and Alaimo give their word but I’ve heard from MANY different people that they did so I take it to be true. You know it’s true, they know it’s true and so do a whole lot of other people. Sorry “facts” but you lose.
I don’t know where you draw the line between “outsider” and “insider.” According to you, is an “insider” someone who holds a certain position like Doug Hageman who’s on the Republican State Central Committee? As far as the Foley/LG issue, the “facts” are none of the supposed State Reps all you liars claim that Foley “offered” the position to have NOT made any public statements of the like so that means it didn’t happen no matter how much you clowns keep lying about it. You don’t have to be an “insider” to figure that one out Einstein.
I don’t know anything about “Foley’s special side deal with the Enfield RTC chair” so please enlighten us with your “facts” I’d love to hear them. As far as the Enfield RTC Chair, why can’t Brislin and Aliamo take her out? Oh that’s right they DON’T HAVE THE VOTES, kinda like Fedele didn’t have at the convention. Democracy sucks when it screws you, huh?
And so the contradictions continue. You say that Brislin and Alaimo singlehandedly swung Enfield’s votes to Fedele.
And yet you claim that they can’t take Mary Ann Turner out because they don’t have the votes. How do you know they want to do so? Have they ever tried? Last time I checked, Mary Ann Turner was unanimously re-elected this year.
How is it that they have the votes to get elected as delegates, singlehandedly engineer a switch to Fedele, and not have the votes to take on the Enfield RTC Chair?
Do you have any evidence of them trying to overthrow the Enfield RTC chair? You don’t have that proof any more than you have proof of folks “giving their word” to Foley.
As far as I know, no one in the Enfield RTC is interested in taking the chairman’s job because it involves mountains of unpaid work.
Not all of Enfield’s votes numbnuts, just their crew which was about half of Enfield’s votes.
You’re probably right, even though they hate Mary Ann Turner they vote for her as chair as a form of punishment not a reward. Last time I knew, they didn’t have the votes to knock her off even if they wanted to but with Mary Ann’s charming “bull in a china shop” personality, odds are that’s changed and they probably could now if they wanted to.
They got selected as delegates probably because no one else wanted to go.
I do know they gave their word to Foley and they broke their word. You know it, I know it and they know it unless you are Alaimo himself (odds are at least 90% you are indeed Alaimo posting anonymously) which means you know it first hand. Not keeping your “word” in politics is the lowest form of slime there is, just go ask your buddy Doug Hageman but be sure you have at least an extra hour to listen to Doug impart his vast wisdom on you as it generally takes a while.
Since you seem to know so darn much “Enfielder” (aka Dom Alaimo) what can you tell us about “Foley’s special side deal with the Enfield RTC chair” that the idiot who calls himself “facts” spoke about earlier?
Trust me: Mary Ann Turner is the only one who wants to run the ERTC, and she has the job as long as she wants it. Ask anyone up here.
“odds are at least 90% you are indeed Alaimo posting anonymously”
Nice try, but no cigar. I’m not Alaimo. If you actually knew him and the other Enfielders, you’d be able to tell me why this is nearly impossible- why it’s 99.9% improbable.
“They got selected as delegates probably because no one else wanted to go.”
Again, it shows you don’t know Enfield. We had a very competitive delegate caucus. Over 22 people were nominated for 15 slots. 80-100 people showed up to vote.
Mary Ann Turner is not the kind of person who would make a special side deal with any candidate. “Facts” is completely wrong about that issue. The manner is which you trash her personality and character is utterly despicable, particularly for someone who doesn’t have the courage to show his face or give his name.
By the way, you are a paid Foley staffer. You know way to much for a mere gossiper who isn’t on the RTC, wasn’t a delegate, but happens to know what Foley’s staffers did and did not tell the Enfielders.
I’m not a paid Foley staffer you moron, why do you keep lying?
I told you, I talk to LOTS of people; Democrats and Republicans including Foley “staffers,” Fedele “staffers,” McMahon “staffers” and even staffers from Blumenthal, Malloy and Lamont’s campaigns. I just talked directly to Nancy Wyman, Mary Glassman and Denise Merrill last week. I don’t talk to Ozzie’s crew because he doesn’t have one.
Regarding Mary Ann Turner, I didn’t “trash her personality and character” which is once again another lie out of you. If I told her that right to her face, we’d both laugh about it because it’s true. You know it, I know it, she knows it and just about everyone who knows her knows it.
Doug Hageman is the one who “trash(ed) her personality and character” so why aren’t you admonishing him? I never said she made a dime on lawn signs but Doug did.
If you’re so damned “courageous” then why are you posting anonymously? Very few observers are not buying your “I’m not Dom Alaimo” routine so just give your real name and prove me wrong.
Enfielder, here’s some more about me since you’re do damned interested:
I play in a band, we’re the best in the land
We’re big in both Chelsea and France
I play one mean guitar and then score at the bar
There’s a line of chicks waiting for their chance
I can bench press a car, I’m an ex football star
with degrees from both Harvard and Yale
Girls just can’t keep up, I’m a real love machine
I’ve had far better sex while in jail
I’ve designed the Sears Tower, I make two grand an hour
I cook the world’s best duck flambe
I’ll take the pick of the litter, girls jockey for me
I don’t need these lines to get laid
I’m a man of the night, a real ladies delight
See my figure was chiseled from stone
One more for the gal then I’ll escort her home
Come last call, I’m never alone
I’ve a house on the hill with a red water bed
That puts Hugh Heffner’s mansion to shame
With girls by the pool and Italian sports cars
I’m just here in this dump for the game
